Reasons not to vote for McCain

There are many reasons not to vote for McCain. Please feel free to discuss yours.

    My current favorite:

He's too old and decrepit. I would like to see his current and past health records. The possibility of Bush in pantyhose being President when he croaks is enough to keep me from voting this ticket.

He's Republican lite. Republicans disliked him, and the media and plenty of Dems liked him, until he became the Republican nominee.

sorry about your dad rising , if my dad were alive right now , he'd be scratching the top of his coffin trying to get out ...........but would be approx. 15 years older then McCain......that said , with McCain's health history & Palin seriously not being ready to "run" a country are reasons not to vote for him , although I think the same about Obama , but I also think they're just figureheads anyways & really don't control all the strings , the fed reserve , the wall st. bullies , the congress/senate , foreign monies really "run" what our gov't does..........& the "checks & balances"..........yeah , right.......

The inability to give or recieve a high five is important, but it's the fact that he can't throw out the first pitch in a World Series game that disqualifies him in my book.

I was given to understand that he can't lift his arms due to injuries he recived in prison camp. Both his shoulders were broken as well as his Collar bones. His captors never treated the injuries and the bones weren't set properly.
At least thats the story I got.

That is correct. Which is why I can't understand why someone would make a joke about it. You don't have to like the man or his policies. You don't have to like his running mate. You don't have to vote for him, but to mock injuries received in service to his country is appalling.

    CM,
I think the injuries occured from the crash and immediate capture by civilians that beat him.
The fact that he wasn't properly treated while being held led to the limited use of his arms.
