    Marketing anyone?

    This is a happy little paycheck for marketing in WNY!

    Vice President of Marketing



    Our client, a prominent internet technology company in Western New York is searching for a Vice Presidentof Marketingto drive all marketing and sales activities related to the company's online offerings. This position will be responsible for the following:

    * Define and execute marketing strategies to attract traffic to affiliate sites.Develop and implement the tools and processes to support these marketing efforts.
    * Develop and execute all marketing communications and promotional programs associated with affiliate direct sales and consumer advertising programs, including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
    * Responsible for the overall creative direction of the company.
    * Develop the creative approach to direct marketing to affiliate call centers, including, but not limited to direct sales campaigns and commission programs.
    * Collaborate with the sales and account management teams to optimize pricing and product mix including bundling of products and services, new subscriber offers, and price elasticity testing.
    * Develop strategy for using external marketing, advertising and public relations and negotiates contract terms and conditions for major services. Serves as liaison with outside agencies on promotional campaigns.
    * Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image through the development of an integrated marketing strategy throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
    * Increase market share by driving subscriber and revenue targets through conceptualization, execution, and management of customeracquisition and retention marketing and promotional initiatives.
    * Produce and analyze key trend reports measuring the performance of marketing campaigns and programs to optimize channel efficiency and maximize channel ROI.

    The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of direct marketing or general management experience with a proven track record of successfully leading marketing, as well as the acquisition and retention of online customers. This position requires a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field and an MBA is preferred.

    Seems like a great job. The 10 years of experience kind of kills it for me though. Good luck to the right candidate.
