    Smile Rally Friday

    May 29, 2008

Tomorrow night, Friday the 30th, will long be remembered by all who attend the Ron Paul rally in Branson, MO at the Tri Lakes Center, 2527 State Hwy 248. See www.trilakescenter.com. The doors will open at 6:00, Ron Paul will speak at 7:00. The rally is open to the public with preferred seating for delegates and alternates. Dr Paul's new bestseller, The Revolution: a Manifesto will be available for purchase and as time allows, will be signed by the author after the rally.

There will be a picnic prior to the rally at Table Rock State Park, 5272 State Hwy 165 from 1:30-5:00. Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be provided. Come, meet Ron Paul supporters from across Missouri and support our contested and uncontested delegates. (Only delegates and alternates will be able to vote in the Republican Convention on Saturday, but guests will be allowed to observe.)

You don't want to miss this opportunity to support Dr Paul and hear him speak to fellow Missourians. This is history in the making! Be there!!!

    Best regards,
    Deb Wells

Not like I expect any of us to be there but posted this to show how much this great man still cares about his country and supporters.

If he truly cared about his supporters he would stop fleecing them.

It's because of short sighted people like you that this country will continue its downhill slide. I hope you live to harvest the fruits of your ignorance !!

Ron Paul's Campaign Is a Family Business, FEC Reports Show

Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.) has built a national following largely by preaching an isolationist foreign policy. Stick with your own kind, says the maverick presidential candidate.

And that's more or less what he has been doing over the past few months, putting relatives in a slew of key positions and paying them a total of $169,063, according to the latest campaign finance reports.

Paul's granddaughter Valori Pyeatt helps organize fundraising receptions and has been paid $17,157. Another granddaughter, Laura Paul ($2,724), handles orders for Ron Paul merchandise. Grandson Matthew Pyeatt ($3,251) manages Paul's MySpace profile. Daughter Peggy Paul ($2,224) helps with campaign logistics. The candidate's sons Randall and Robert and his daughter Joy Paul LeBlanc have all been paid for campaign travel and for appearing as surrogates at political events.

Who keeps track of all these finances? Paul's brother and daughter, naturally, who have been paid a combined $62,740 to handle the campaign's accounting.

When you say he's "doing so much," what, specifically, do you mean?

What is he accomplishing at this point?

You probably should have been a little more specific about what Ron Paul's candidacy has people thinking about. He has got people thinking about real issues for example the drug war failure, monetary policy, foreign policy, and the dramatic rise of tyranny that is occurring in the country. Unlike the other campaigns that are putting up straw men issues for example sexism, racism, nationalism, and collectivism.

If the Ron Paul campaign had not occurred do you think that even one question would have been asked of any candidate about the monetary policy of the United States? I really doubt that unless the question was asked of some third party candidate, and it would have never been asked during the nationally televised debate.

Monetary policy is a issue that is long overdue for a discussion and if a serious discussion happened 40+ years ago the dollar would probably be a much more stable currency and we would not be looking at $4.00 a gallon gasoline, and with the monetary policy discussion you have to at least acknowledge the government spending and subsidy programs.
