The Catholic Health System and the Community Health Center of Buffalo have agreed to create a patient-care center on Fillmore Avenue in the Central Park area of Buffalo.

The new site is described as a 40,000 square-foot "supercenter" that will offer a comprehensive set of services from primary care to specialty care and laboratories. It will be owned and operated by the Community Health Center while Sisters of Charity Hospital will lease space for imaging and accept referrals for prenatal and obstetrics care.

Under the proposal, the Community Health Center will move its current location next to Erie County Medical Center on Grider Street and Sisters Hospital will transition its primary care patients at its Sisters Family Health Center to the new facility.
