    Hungry Owl

Hi. I'm still alive. Just very busy with the food drive and other things. Thanks Tony & Vicki for the banners. They've seen a lot of action. If your at the Independence Days festivities Thursday or Friday, visit our tent and see them in action.

I'm still taking pictures and have a mess of neat ones. I've got ten minutes, so I thought I'd share this with youse guys. This is from Photo Day at Hawk Creek Nature Preserve.

    Very nice pics!

Here's one of the Scottish Highlands. Nice view for a highway.

And some hungry riverfront gulls at Inverness....

Can't get onto this website from the UK. Seems a certain individual has blocked the connection

I am back home. One week- I thought that would have been enough.

I could spend 3 months there and still want to stay.

Highland cows. This was a tough pic to take- it's foggy and the sun is out, all sorts of hell w/the white balance.

Just looking for some advice here- who does your prints?

I am using a calibration tool on my monitor (Spyder 3 Pro) and I can't say I'm impressed with places that keep changing my colors...

I got a new camera.. I'm gonna get even more up close personal with the insect world.

This thing even does 1080 HD video even though it's only 20 frames per second. It's still cool though.. The Canon Rebel T1i

I have to read up on how it works. How about that... the snail moves faster than most NYS elected officials.
