Yeah, terrible, terrible weather. My dog and I have only managed one long walk in the park a day. Damn cold weather forced me to sleep long and comfy without waking in a puddle of sweat. Flipping cold forces me to put on a hat when I cook on the outdoor grill. It's been so cold it takes me longer to drill my ice fishing hole. Yeah, terrible, terrible weather.
How do you like your steak? Well-done. You expect me to stand out in this terrible, terrible weather and cook you a well-done steak?
The weather is no WORST than your posts.Originally Posted by VegasDude

Here are a few things we're not especially susceptible to:
Tornadoes, hurricanes, widespread flooding, searing heat, unbearable cold.
Top that off with less risk of deadly earthquakes and forest fires, and I'll take snow and freezing rain any day.

speaking of unbearable COLD and Wind storms that have Hurricane

But anyways their's plenty of other places they don't get any of
of those and even the places that have a risk of earth quakes & hurricanes
have booming economys.

Speaking of searing heat, The NFL recieve so many complaments and
enjoyed having the 2008 Super bowl so much in Desert of Glendale Arizona
that the NFL has asked Phoenix if they want to host 2012 or 2013
Superbowl, usually it's the other way around, cities are begging the NFL
to be the Host City.

Or, are you vacationing in Buffalo, again?
Buffalo bashing starts early for people in Vegas with nothing better to do. Wonder if he/she even had the coffee going yet?Originally Posted by therising
I tend to bitch about the weather around this time of year, but let's put it in perspective...
Buffalo:
No direct hits from hurricanes
No major floods
A minor tornado like once every 10 years.
No scorpions
No highly poisonous snakes
No wildfires burning millions of acres
No cockroaches (well, I've never seen one)
No killer bees
No 115 degree weather for weeks in the summer.
It gets cold in the winter, but not nearly as cold and snowy as some places.
Beautiful autumns
Skiing and snowmobiling all winter
I'm sure if I think long enough I can come up with more. I think I'll stay here and enjoy it, thanks.

The only thing I like about Vegas, is the song, "Pretty Vegas." That's it though.
