    Try something new today.

    Things to do today
pick up the phone and call someone who would love to hear from you.
tell someone at the store, restaurant, your job etc.. that they are doing a good job..
    Spend 15 minutes doing nothing
Tell everyone that you love how important they are to you( do this one everyday)
If you know someone who is struggling why not put $5 in an envelope and mail it to them.
    Say please and thank you.

Let me articulate this for you:

I religiously spend at least fifteen minutes a day, if not more, doing absolutely nothing. Ask my wife.

Michele how thoughtful of you. I put the 5$ you gave me in my daughters bank.

Psychologists have said that trying something "new" and "different," getting away from our usual routine is great for boredom, anxiety and depression.
It can be something as little as taking a different route to work, but its very easy to
    make changes, big & small
that "awaken us" from our usual monotonous lives.

    "Change is growth."

And no. I'm not into "new age!"

Those who've said "doing 15 minutes of nothing everyday" are right on.
Gives us a chance to "zone out," "reflect" or "re-charge"

Now ME, I'd love to get one of those sensory deprivation tanks
Coincidence is the word we use when we can't see the levers and pulleys.

So did mine! I had to dock myself a few hours last week

Excellent suggestion Michele, although it's sad to think anyone would need to be reminded to do this. (except of course not everyone can afford to give away 5 bucks every day).

I tried something new today. I did the dishes.

But I can't figure out whether, after you smash them to bits, if they go in the regular trash or the recycle bin.

If they were paper plates they go in the recycle bin.
    Hope that helps
