I like your imagination, I choose B
if given a choice of pictures below, which would you like as Downtown's waterfront development?
Picture A: the same as we've seen (like forever)...
Picture B: an alternative (via my imagination)

I'm gonna be dead before I see trees that size in that spot.

Our harbor could be much more cool than Baltimores or Bostons.....
go ahead and make your ships .you can also build the pier and pay for the up keep. we could not funds the rebuild of the Canadian or what ever the crystal beach boat was named. and that was the real thing. I think the Sullivan's is good enough

Wouldn't that be terrific? I'd be downtown all the time for that!Originally Posted by Surfing USA
I would go downtown for that. Looks like a good place to eat, shop for trinkets and just spend some time in the fresh air checking out the boats and ships.Originally Posted by speaker

It's not just what is downtown that needs improvement and change, it's the overall attitude of people in the area.

Let me articulate this for you:
"I'm not locked in here with them. They're locked in here with me!!"

That ugly scene (A) is going to be there 50 years from now, barring World War III, a major reform/revival movement in Buffalo which gets rid of waste and takes action, appropriating funds where they're needed the most
as Buffalo becomes "business friendly" and 2 million people move into Buffalo and its suburbs.
So-
While picture B is wonderful-
Surfing's Buffalo waterfront FANTASY is a stinging reminder that "change"
is a "dirty word" in Buffalo
"TALKING PROUD!!!"
Coincidence is the word we use when we can't see the levers and pulleys.
