Downtown Buffalo, which would you choose?

if given a choice of pictures below, which would you like as Downtown's waterfront development?

Picture A: the same as we've seen (like forever)...

Picture B: an alternative (via my imagination)

When one always sees a glass ½ full, they always find a negative to pour out.

go ahead and make your ships .you can also build the pier and pay for the up keep. we could not funds the rebuild of the Canadian or what ever the crystal beach boat was named. and that was the real thing. I think the Sullivan's is good enough

    +++++

But it's got to be more than that (a stand of trees) to bring me back downtown to live!

I would go downtown for that. Looks like a good place to eat, shop for trinkets and just spend some time in the fresh air checking out the boats and ships.

It's not just what is downtown that needs improvement and change, it's the overall attitude of people in the area.

    No doubt.

This area is the poster child for being all show and no go....
Let me articulate this for you:

That ugly scene (A) is going to be there 50 years from now, barring World War III, a major reform/revival movement in Buffalo which gets rid of waste and takes action, appropriating funds where they're needed the most
as Buffalo becomes "business friendly" and 2 million people move into Buffalo and its suburbs.

    So-
    While picture B is wonderful-
Surfing's Buffalo waterfront FANTASY is a stinging reminder that "change"
is a "dirty word" in Buffalo

    "TALKING PROUD!!!"
Coincidence is the word we use when we can't see the levers and pulleys.
