THEY DON'T GET PAID BY HOURS and will be off on Monday and Tuesday; or better, will get paid double for working on weekends.Originally Posted by Jim Ostrowski

Enclosed walking bridge?? That is a tall, TALL slope to climb on foot. You'd be walking a very long way from no-place to no-place-else, besides.
the view from Skyway is breathtaking. Unfortunately, it's closed tonight.
Skyway is still closed. Time to tear it down.

An at grade portion of route 5 was closed all morning. We should elevate the whole thing.
It saves time and money to Southtowns commuter to get to Buffalo. Have you seen the traffic? Did you count cars every morning?
Demolishing Skyway is like shutting down Truway from Amherst to downtown Buffalo. What would northtown residents say who work in Buffalo say?

Maybe we shouldn't live so damn far from work?
I believe the city has been gravely damaged by expressways. I would get rid of the Skyway, 33 and 198, keep the 190 for now (make Genesee into an arterial for the Airport--would help revive that depressed area by bringing new traffic for restaurants and shops). That whole neighborhood near Canisius could be revived by re-creating the Humboldt Parkway.
and I would relocate the Erie County, State and federal buildings to Sountowns. How this proposal sound to you, Mr. Ostrowski, the north buffalo resident?
