    Even laws cant stop collusion

For the complete story click on title : State Supreme Court decision rules Hamburg violated public bidding law

    By Barbara O’Brien
    NEWS STAFF REPORTER

A State Supreme Court justice has ruled the Town of Hamburg violated the Wicks Law, New York’s public bidding law that dates back to 1912.
But the decision offers no remedy and no penalties for the town,

This is why the Politicians believe they can do whatever they want and then impose laws and codes on tax payers.

So because they broke the law and received no penalty's the Town Attorney views it as a "win"=

and Hamburg Town Attorney Kenneth Farrell said that translates into a successful decision for the town. “The town completed the project on budget, on time, and there is no collusion,” he said. “We protected the town.”

They side step the rules they helped create at election time - I can guarantee just about every member of that Town Board receives Union contributions.

Its like the "Code of Ethics" in Lancaster - they have to have a written code - they are supposed to have a code of Ethics bipartisan Board - yet no one can make them comply.

#Dems play musical chairs + patronage and nepotism = entitlement !

Too true 4248. Until a few years ago the bid process in Lancaster was a sham. It changed sonewhat when residents started looking into the process and the town has been more compliant to following the ordained process.

However there are many RFP's out there and the public is just fed the information that the lowest bidder was chosen, And if not so, the story is given that the lowest bidder with the best qualifications was chosn.

It is sad to have been lied to so many times in the past that any transaction is looked upon with suspicion.
