It should of read - His statement had everything to do with Jaworski, who now is saying after the approval of the deal that he wants to sit down with both sides and see if some sort of resolution can be made. Hence you moron that is Jaworski himself.....
Figured I better restate this because I have noticed when LA 1 gets slapped around up here a little bit and has no intelligent reply he/she starts to pick apart typos !

The sale of a lot next door to you, would not landlock you would it, no it would simply be used for something other than if you bought it. Being fair and objective is what a mayor needs to be by your own words, and you always bash the currnet administration about being a dictatorship, now when your boyfriend/candidate wants to do the same, your here to protect and say its something different. Let the land go up for auction to everyone who wants to bid on it and the fair price will be paid regardless of who gets it. it may even go on the tax role instead of being tax exempt the way Pat wants it to be. Your many personalities on this site represent the many you have in real life! So maybe YOU should wake up and be your own person instead of whom they make you be. Typical Tony Mingarelli move! Check!
Do you not get the fact that they all voted yes and Jaworski changed his vote? Do you not see the fact that this land has been vacant for 30 years? Do you not see what INCOMPETENT LEADERSHIP leads to? The council is to blame for this thing along with the Director of Development. If this property was advertised properly on the web or by a real estate agent from the get go by him we wouldn't have this problem. If the council stuck to THEIR set standards about selling property we wouldn't have this problem now would we. This is what happens when inept leadership changes the rules for friends and family you get a clusterf*&^ of epic proportions. In his article Mr. McCusker called out the ineptness of the whole thing and was complaining about the cost of an outside council. As far as your racism comments go you just SLANDERED someone!

A quote from Lackawanna #1: "...Oh wait, I cant believe you havent blamed it on or dragged Makeyenko into this yet..."

How can you read my comment defending McCusker and saying that he was berating City Council over the city-owned property fiasco and come up with "Makeyenko"??? Even if you read between the lines and examine my comment under a magnifying glass, I'm sorry but there's no mention whatsoever to the Lackawanna School Board President. Smoke and mirrors. That's all it is. If the "racism" card didn't work, next you involve the School Board? Let's refocus, shall we...? CITY COUNCIL INSANITY is the topic.

As far as "rumors" go, again I'm sorry but how is reporting a VOTE on the City Council floor suddenly a rumor?

When casting ballots, ignorance is dangerous!

To quote an opinion in the News Tribute (Tacoma, Washington):

Here's a polite way to put it: Voters who've done their homework on the candidates and issues deserve a warm glow of civic virtue as they fill out their ballots.

A less polite version: Citizens who don't have a clue should either educate themselves or leave the job of self-government to the better informed.

What the writer was referring to was a County Sheriff's race in which 52,000 people voted for a CONVICTED FELON INSTEAD OF A PROFESSIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT EXECUTIVE. (All the writer could conclude was "maybe the voters liked his [the felon's] name."

"It's not hard to get educated. At a MINIMUM, citizens should read the the flyers and pamphlets delivered to their house. If a candidate doesn't bother to submit information, SOUNDS INCOHERENT, or seems GROSSLY MISINFORMED...well, consider VOTING FOR THE OTHER PERSON!

Disasterly UNQUALIFIED candidates can actually get elected IF ENOUGH VOTERS AREN'T PAYING ATTENTION!

With that being said: Pat McCusker is a TAX PROFESSIONAL, a Union Ironworker (18 years), a former District Manager of H&R Block, a youth baseball director and Little Loop football coach, an active fundraiser for Relay-4-Life...and, a graduate of Lackawanna High School.

I have to agree with lack...

I know a few people who go for some tax courses offered by H&R and then they do taxes at the HR office during tax season...

That doesn't make one a "tax/planning" expert. Not to be confused with real book keepers, CPA types...

I don't know who he's referring to so this comment doesn't apply directly to who he's referring to..

People fluff up on their resumes to the point of misleading...... it happens all the time and it is apart of human nature. Look into each candidates resumes and look for the fluff.. expose it because your kids futures are effected by the choices these people will make if elected..

Pat was the district manager for H&R Block for 43 offices throughout Erie and Niagara Counties, managing over 600 employees. Where do you come up with a 3 hour course Lack#1? Pat has his own business, tax and bookkeeping. How do you spew venom on a person that you do not even know? Oh wait, you know it ALL. Tell us again why the school system is so bad??

You wonder where people get their information? UNINFORMED and UNEDUCATED voters are very, very dangerous to any election...and this is one perfect example of BOTH! How does one translate a District Manager for H&R Block of 43 offices throughout Erie and Niagara Counties, managing over 600 employees into one "3 hour tax course?" That's like saying that Sue S. should be in charge of the DPW Worker's Union simply because she's been driving her daughter to sports practices for years.
