I need a short term rental in Buffalo, minimum 3 months. Any Ideas?

I will be arriving in Buffalo in 9 days and need a place to stay. If anyone knows of a good place for short term housing or has something they own let me know.

I have what I need, so furnished or not, it does not matter. I do prefer wood floors. I am very clean, pay on time, and will leave the unit better than when I moved in.

I have been looking on Craigslist, but there does not seem to be a lot of selection.

Also I don;t want to spend a ton of money, but it really depends on how nice the place is to live.

Also if someone has a nice place to live I would also be willing to barter or work for a place to stay.

Any help would be appreciated. Just trying to bring one more person to Buffalo to help with the pop. explosion.

    1. Safe area of city closer to downtown the better.
    2. 1+ bedroom bigger is okay as well.
    3. less than $700 a month, the lower the better
    4. In good condition with wood floors in bedrooms at least.
    5. Include appliances, dishwasher, and washer, dryer would be great.

    Thanks

    From the property description:

This one is a diamond in the rough with unlimited possibilities. Priced too sell
They got the "rough" part right.

It's a hot neighborhood if you are into arson.

Location you describe is Allentown/Elmwood/Delaware areas.
Staying under $700 in those areas shouldn't be a problem, but if you want a nice place don't bother with apartments under $500.
Wood floors in the city should not be hard to find.
Appliances are usually included, but not in-unit laundry for that price range. The best you'll find is probably shared basement laundry. Otherwise the laundromat.

Listings to consider: the buffalo news, the buffalo news website also lists rentals, calling local real estate brokers (many do rentals too), and Artvoice

    Kenmore.

    It's clean and safe.

The savages are afraid to cross Kenmore Ave for fear of getting rousted by KPD's malevolent Orwellian plate reader (see previous post).

Don't speed, tailgate or otherwise or drive stupidly and you won't have a problem. Oh, and check your window stickers and pay your child support, if applicable.

2BR Duplex rentals have oak floors, and average $500-$600.

15 minutes from downtown via Elmwood, Delaware or Military Rd.

If you're looking for housing in Buffalo, just remember the dozen or so UB students who got robbed at knifepoint in Buffalo over the weekend.

They are interesting you call them up to resever a place and they quote you a high rate, you book online and it is almost half. It is funny that companies would rather pay a company a percentage and get way less than just charge a reasonable amount at the hotel. $59 a night seems fair for a few days.

Most of their units require a year lease, but I imagine they are negotiable.

I think finding an apartment with a dishwasher might be a bit hard
I don't remember any of the ones I looked at having them
stove and fridge won't be a problem though
