    Water Authority Buys Generators For.....

This one is for Steven who at the SpeakupWNY picnic made a snidbit about how the mesage board is so negative sounding. Well Steven here you go some positives for you.

Yep, leave it to natural disasters to light a fire under the butts of those irresponsible folks who are supposed to be responsible in making sure the utility supplies are safe with minimal interruptions. A recent news article on WGRZ's WEB site reported that the Erie County water authority will lease five portable generators while permanent backup power generators are built at key pumping stations. Read about it here:

Why must something bad happen in order for something good to happen????

How many people must die becuase of a collapsed bridge before all the bridges are properly inspected and repaired???

New Generators for The Eire County Water Authority

According to an editorial in the Buffalo News. Eire County Water Authority will have backup power generators to insure water for their customers. The Water Authority is a political haven for retired politicians. These bozos had no backup plan for an electrical power failure at all. If left to their own decisions they still would not have one. They were forced into action by the County Health Dept. Lets get the politics out of the Water Authority and hire some qualified executives to run the Water Authority.

What ticks me off beyond no avail is why does an emergency crisis situation have to take place before the *******s in charge take action with some responsibility. We should not have our water supplies compromised because the power cord to the pumps were broken and they had no backup plan in place. You need to look at these dolts and ask what the hell were you thinking.

This is what happens when career politicians are appointed to positions when they have no expertise in the job they are appointed to.
