    WECK Radio as a Option?

Competition for the big mouth of morning talk radio..... Rev.bauerle..sounds good to me. don't know if it would work but it's about time....
brad riter the ex wben employee now program director of weck declares war on wgr and wben.
brad, you will have to get rid of bill o'loughlin as your morning man he will never beat bauerle in the morning ratings. in fact he is like ssslllllowww mmmmoootionnnn and puts me right to sleep.
with a lot of bauerle shows tanking on some of these subjects he picks people have been dial pushing of late. have you noticed over the year or so he has backed way off the city of buffalo politics and mayor erkel,(i think he was told tooo) nothing to say about king collins and the ECL never talks about politics in the burbs unless he has a personal grip ..... like that could be a strong point for weck radio burbs politics. just look at this site and how people talk about their towns and how screwed up they are when it comes to politics and taxes and politicians.

I can usually last about 5 minutes before dial pushing on him no matter the subject. Ya, 5 minuets sounds right. He just rubs me the wrong way often, even on subjects I agree with him on.

I hope WECK can do it.

    Nice alternative

Bauerle and Beach are annoying when they harp on a subject. it seems they try to somehow convince the audience that their view is the only correct view to have. If you don't share their opinion you are stupid. Anyway I've listened to WECK and it is a nice change.

I listen to WECK at times but if they make a good overhaul at that station I am sure they will take people away from that idiot Bauerle.

There is no local radio talent - thankfully the internet offers some great options - listen to bill Handel on KFI 620 out of LA.

You can listen live on the internet or on your smartphone.

Download any day's podcast of Handel on the news or the 5 am hour and give it a try. you won't be disappointed. and you'll then realize how bad the local radio flapping lips really are.

That's because most of the stations here are owned by the same crappy company.

Listen to Handel - you'll realize it is the non-talent that is the problem.

Seriously, how bad do you have to be to be stuck in the Buffalo media Market for 10+ years?
