    'Res... You don't get it.

You still think this governor election is just about "jobs and money". I hate to break it to you, but it's not.

What does it have to do with this thread? "Libtards" want equal rights for all. It's not quite "ludicrous" to expect that. Separate but equal is not constitutional. That's the problem with Civil Unions vs. Marriages, unless the government were to start issuing "Civil Union Licenses" only, and not issuing marriage licenses.

What does this have to do with the LBGT community? Easy: Which group is fighting for equal right? Progressives (Or, in this thread called "libtards"), or Right Wing Nutz?
Here is what you don't get. At this time in NYS the main issue that effects everyone is Jobs and money.

All the other issues are all secondary because they only effect small segments of our society in NYS.

Here is a question for you nbuffaloresident

Would you vote for a candidate that would instantly pass gay marriage if you knew that candidate would instantly pass a bill that would double taxes on everyone one else? Yes or no.

Right now? Sure would. Wanna know why? The "tourism" dollars alone would easily swamp the extra costs. Essentially, it would be a wash. And, to add to that, I find civil rights to be a much more important issue than money.

Civil rights in general do but currently they are not the reason our communities in NYS are less competitive against other States and Globally.

Civil rights still affect everybody. May not be a fiscal reason, but when did our founding fathers say every policy is about money?

Who me? LBGT rights don't affect me directly, just like Minority Rights don't directly affect me. However, civil rights IMO, always trump fiscal issues.

So, I don't see how I only care about "me"? Unlike yourself who has definitively declared you only care about changes that put money in your pocket right now.

    Yes you.

You'd burden every other citizen with double taxes just so another special interest group gets what htey want. You would place more hard ship on families and cause more people to leave NYS. There really isn't much more to say.

This is a good test that I received in my email (name changed to protect the guilty). LOL!

The difference between a Libtard and a Conservative.

If you ever wondered what side of the fence you sit on, this is a great test!

If a conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn't buy one.
If a Libtard doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn't eat meat..
If a Libtard is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for
    everyone.

If a conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Libtard is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Libtard wonders who is going to take care of him.

If a conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Libtards demand that those they don't like be shut down.

If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A Libtard non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.
(Unless it's a foreign religion, of course!)

If a conservative reads this, he'll forward it so his friends can have
    a good laugh.
A Libtard will delete it because he's "offended".

    So True!!!

I can not single-handedly choose to burden every citizen. Remember: Democracy. It's what the majority wants as long as the rights of the minorities are not trampled.

Civil rights > Money every single time. You should think about that a bit.

Drove through downtown Buffalo last night......dead.

I am curious as to what people think really matters.

Many concerns pop like a soap bubble when you have a terminal illness.

Well, according to libtards here... political correctness and the status quo is better than any meaningful economic positive changes for wny and NYS. I hope they're enjoying their votes.
