Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - The mayor of Hamilton, Ontario, says he has been assured that the man poised to buy an NHL team wants to move that team to Hamilton.


Billionaire Jim Balsillie has agreed to buy the Nashville Predators, and the Hamilton Spectator reports the city will not only give Balsillie the green-light to bring the team to Copps Coliseum, but also let Balsillie run Hamilton Place and the Convention Center.
