Another Speaker has been added to OUR July 12, 2010 Block Club meeting at the Lackawanna Library from the "Coalition for Economic Justice".
Their group monitors where your "tax payments in-lieu of taxes" go amoungst many other Watch-Dog citizen issues.
Thanks, Info for making time out of your busy day to try to make this empowering meeting.
I offer an "Olive Branch" out to my enemies---I just want to help to be part of the solution of preserving and revitalizing Lackawanna. We can agree to disagree on many things---making Lackawanna nice for OUR kids is something I am sure we can work together on.
This is not about me.......it is about US. Everyone Welcome, please come.
Lots of things are happening in Buffalo for Buffalo residents---Why Not Lacka......?
Thank you for putting this together for all of us.I'm going to try to make sure I'm there

Can't anyone in Lackawanna start a block club to rid the city of the corrupt politicians? Grass would be so much greener, the sun would be so much brighter, the sky so much more blue! Gray clouds would be lifted! Come on people, how much BS can you handle in that city. Donkeys sure do leave their droppings. It stinks to the highest heaven!!
Great turn-out of concerned Lackawanna Citizens came out for OUR City-wide Block Club formation!

Bring A Friend!
I challenge ALL downers to dare show up at OUR next Block Club meeting!
This is not meant to be nasty or antagonistic---I am turning a new cheek and just want to educate and empower neighbors to help and protect one another with the blanket of a Block Club. If you care then you will want to join us to share your ideas and elbow grease to motivate and push Lackawanna into the 21st Century!
We want to work along with the elected officials and Police to help them do their job of taking care of Lackawanna.
Remember there is strength in numbers! And EVERYONE Counts!
Wait a minute I thought we weren't doing anything???
Linda Freidenberg, President of the Buffalo and Erie County Board of Block Clubs called me yesterday to check on our formation progress in Lackawanna.
I told her we were getting a somewhat smaller turnout then we expected. Also citywide, having trouble getting the word out about us to all LA Citizens.
We decided to wait until after the holidays and then she and her team are going to come out and aggressively help us to organize OUR entire City neighborhoods into Block Clubs.
Stay tuned......!
We meet at the LA Library---we also have to see their operating schedule in January. I hope we stay the same.
We are re-grouping, stay tuned!
Info will be coming.
