NO WAY!!! That's because when I posted my reply to mg1940 on the 12th, I specifically stated NEXT week, not this week!!! Deadline had already passed for THIS week. Sorry to confuse you!

Glad to hear that Cath...I guess there is hope after all...lol!

Going back a few posts I think if a Supervisor was told to talk to an employee about something on his car...SHAME on the Superintendent for putting the supervisor in that position. If there is a District Policy that states no such things can be placed....well, who makes POLICY???? That is the job of the school board and it would be their policy...so..........I thought the board was for "the kids?" Is this? How does this affect kids or their learning? The board has NO BUSINESS managing staff. That is the job of the Superintedent who knows the law BUT this is a strategy to stall for time and delay action/inaction on an issue. An attorney can only give his "opinion"...nothing more. The Superintendent comes with far too much experience not to know this legal pursuit is WRONG. The game goes on......

I think Dave is right to pursue this and what ever his past is, it is that - THE PAST. It has been dealt with, PERIOD.

When did some people on this blog become King of the Kingdom? I must have missed that memo!

Everyone yells and rants about things that they want done but are busy keeping workers occupied with nonsense about someones signs. Who cares if a sign went up 4or 10 days early. What does it hurt?
Your kidding right?? Look around! Other than garbage pick up and snowplowing our workers really do not do much of anything.Once again this law must hurt somebody. Name recognition for a new comer maybe. The City Council made this stupid law for a reason maybe you should ask Schavi he works for the schools.....

    School Board Candidates

It's amusing to read all the discussions about the political signs and when is the right/wrong time to display them in yards. I don't think it matters because the REALITY of the signs issue is their LOCATION. The average voter doesn't know...or care...who's who, who's related to whom, who's switched sides since the last election, etc. But the small group of "insiders" are watching carefully to see who's sign gets planted on who's lawn!! We didn't learn about that part of politics in our Government classes in high school! This little game goes hand-in-hand with the "counting of the cars" game during fundraisers. Not that it matters. There are sometimes big surprises at the polls inspite of signage location and numbers of vehicles in parking lots...ahhhhh, politics! You've got to LOVE the drama!

I am not too sure as to what went on here today, but my phone is jammed with messages. Yes, David is my cousin. No, I do not know what goes on with his personal life; not my business. Hope that satisfies everyone's curiosity.

Stop whining bitch to your democratic councilmen! Seems like you are finding out this country isn't as free as it once was. Maybe its that socialist movement?

The facts all speak for themselves----polanski and company wanted me out of the election in 1999 and went after my job that i scored 92 on the civil service test to earn! The county never told me about the hatch act and i had ran in 1997 for city council so i thought it was ok.
There is a lot more to the story, including the illegal payback a guy received for doing polanski and companies dirty deed to get me out of his in the election. They thought i was going to take votes from him and mr. Tokarz was going to win again--and it was only a primary but i did get 406 votes without trying. Ha!

Be careful zanna, "by these same means you will be judged".
Feel free to call me or pm me anytime and i further discuss the hatch act with you. I am pretty much an expert on it now. 563-4349 or andreahaxton@yahoo.com

dirty politics and greed for power to control the surfs is all the creeps vie for in lackawanna political circles. Even opportunist ..... Was an import from hamburg who found a dirty glitch and wedged himself into it. Scammers ,liars, and power mongers---hear ye hear ye! Do ya wanna--come to lackawanna?

Now do not get me wrong, zanna or anyone else reading this. Yes it hurts, i would have been making a good $60,000 and have 15 years retirement under my belt, so it cannot help but hurting when i look back, but....

Because i lost my job, it freed me up to:
Become the first woman elected in the history of lackawanna to the city council! boo-ya!
thank you, jesus! And--- thank you believers!
its amazing that you profess to be a christian but all that comes out of your mouth is name calling and evil....boo-you

Each time this section of the policy was cited and the signs were removed. The only $ being wasted here is David hiring an attorney to fight something he is going to lose. Political activity is NOT allowed on school grounds. Sorry, David needs to thumb through the book again.

What really sucks is being YOU!! Policy has been there since 1996! District policy which encumbers the entire Lackawanna school district.

Now Polanski put his wife on civil service commission. Can the city sink any further?
