Personally I like the Springbrook Hotel in Elma, Mr Bills in Cheektowaga, or Connors in West Seneca. But like wings seems most places have a pretty good fish fry around here
Seems to be the time of season for deep-fried fish.
I'd like to hear people's opinions of the best Fish Fry in town.
And for you Amherst people - let's try to keep this apolitical, and not use this as a reason to bring up Bing's.

Just had one from Springbrook Hotel last night! It's the German Potato salad that lures me- homemade and REALLY good!
There's a bar on como that i think is refered to as the belevue hotel or something. THEY were packed friday "fishfry" night.
I'm not anti-fish fry, but I'm not crazy about fried fish. The good thing about a Friday fish fry is going out to eat. The trick for those who aren't crazy about a fish fry is finding a restaurant that has an excellent fry and wonderful alternatives. My favorite is The Greek, on Transit Road in Depew. But, there are 101 other local restaurants with delicious alternatives on fish fry night.
Hoak's Armor Inn
Papa Jake's on Elmwood used to have a good fish fry but that was back in the day. I haven't had it lately. My favorite fish fry of all is the River Grille but they're only open during boating season.

I'd say it was pretty, but I can't quite make out what it is.
Flowering buds on its stem, grapes, or a bug?
perhaps a bug of an unidentified species?
oh yea .. topic: Fish Fry.
I like them too.

Okay then, how about the Whitesville House.
Last week I went to Connors on Seneca near the West Seneca West High School. The fish was excellent. I also like Trios on Broadway between Ogden and Harlem

I'll drive from West Amherst to Alden for Yellow Pike at the Countryside Inn.
There's a new place on Ontario street just east of Tonawanda St. named Mike's Pizza. They serve fish fry seven days a week. I had some last week and it was excellent, as good as any I've had in Buffalo. Huge portions for $6.99.
