More Proof of the truth of "The Odysee"

I stole this from another poster here, but there is huge news:

The Odyssey, which was written over 2800 years ago details the Trojan War in great detail, to a surprising accuracy.

So, we now know there are mermaids and hydras, because if one part of this is true, the rest must be as well.

I just read a book about the future. In it the author predicts that the sun will rise on February 22, 2012. If he is correct, then everything else in the book must also be true.

I wouldn't worry about stealing anything from people who stole their entire myth from earlier civilizations.

Too bad that The Odyssey is the story of Odysseus' journey home after the Trojan War not the story of the war itself.

It does detail events in the war accurately, however. So, because of that, we know that mermaids and Zeus are in fact real.

O Brother, Where Art Thou? is a fantastic movie, BTW.
One beautiful thing about having a government of the corporations, by the corporations, and for the corporations is that every disaster is measured in terms of economic loss. It's sort of like getting your arm sheared off in a car accident and thinking, "Damn, now it'll take longer to fold the laundry" as blood spurts from your arteries. - The Rude Pundit
