    Alden town clerk admits embezzling

    She resigned after admitting to embezzling $12,403 from the Town of Alden. She had been on PAID administrative leave since November.

    No. Even though she has pled guilty now, the time she was paid for was when the situation was under investigation. Had she pled guilty right from the start, she would have not been paid.
