Just got my call. Sandra Giese is backing Keane. This is selling us in West Seneca short. Why would we want a city resident to be C E and also have a Mayor from the City. All of our tax money would go to the city and we would not benefit. I really don't think her backing means anything because she is not anything but a committeeperson. She holds no office of authority. Just a big manipulating mouth.

I'm curious as to how you feel this is selling you short? West Seneca has the highest taxes in Erie County because of Paul Clark - I remember hearing him on the radio interview on WBEN. They asked him what the West Seneca tax rate was and he stumbled and couldn't answer the question. What sort of CPA can't answer a question like that? ! If anything, she should back Lynn! - but anyone is better than Paul Clark. Please don't stick the rest of our county with West Seneca's horrible taxes.

The more I hear, the more I would like for Bove to run. I don't follow the BS backbiting that many of you seem to be up to date on. I like the fact that Bove returns my calls and emails. I like that she appears to be against further development in WS when there are enough existing sites that can suit the needs.
I like what I know about her. There may be things out there that I am unaware of in regards to her, but so far so good.

I didn't say it should be Clark. I just said it should not be a city guy. We in the suburbs will get the short end. Who might you suggest? Lynn is also from the city. I like Lynn.

    Respect for Daniel McParlane

Hooray for Daniel McParlane for standing up to the name calling of Big Guy.

If Big Guy is the person McParlane is referring to is aka. Eric Paul, I find that absolutely amazing. McParlane may have two part-time appointed positions but neither one pays enough to survive on. Both are barely above minimum wage.

Let's look at Eric Paul. Eric Paul is an infamous character on the political landscape in West Seneca. He was a rising star in West Seneca Democratic circles. He was the head of the Town Democratic Committee and also one of the Town Attorneys. He eventually had a big falling out with the people in charge and was dismissed.

Where Mr. Paul gained more notoriety was in how he practiced law. If you go to this link regarding Eric G. Paul in the Appellate Division Decisions of July 3, 2003 : http://nycourts.gov/ad4/AG/Page6V.07-03-03.htm[/URL], you can draw your own conclusion.

Presently Mr. Paul, now a Republican, is by all accounts, in a huge taxpayer funded patronage position of trust in Senator Dale Volker's office. His salary is many times more than Daniel McParlane's. It just shows you more about the character of "Big Guy", a man that has preyed upon the elderly.

There is a whole lot said here about Senator Volker. It's sad that Volker who professes a "holier than thou attitude" has to hire people of low character to work for him. The people that work in his office are a direct reflection on him. I guess this doesn't say much about Senator Volker's character. It becomes very hard to respect this type of elected official.

Bravo to you Mr. McParlane for calling the "Big Guy" out. He earned it.

The things you learn in here.............

    WOW!

Good for you Mr. McParlane. If your accusers were in your situation they'd have no qualms about reaping all they could. Your "gains" are nothing out of the ordinary, politically speaking. If someone feels you merit them then "bully for you".

Lip service is a given part of politics. Ms. Bove talks a good game. She's earned her way. Yet something here is not kosher.

    A message for "Big Guy"

Big Guy, if you are in fact Eric Paul, as has been reported in this thread, you are worse than any politician we have discussed here. And yes, we met at a party not long ago. I was unaware of your past at the time, but was not impressed with your pompous attitude. Unfortunately for me, it was held at someones home and there was little room to avoid you. Had I known your history at that time, I would have taken great pleasure in questioning your ethics and watched as you tried to cover your fat arrogant ass.

It's a good thing you are impressed with your accomplishments, because anyone who preys on others for their own gain as you did should be jailed.

    Remember this Eric?

MATTER OF ERIC G. PAUL, A SUSPENDED ATTORNEY, RESPONDENT. – Order of disbarment entered. Per Curiam Opinion: Respondent was admitted to the practice of law by this Court on June 27, 1991, and formerly maintained an office for the practice of law in Buffalo. On February 25, 2003, respondent was convicted upon his plea of guilty in Supreme Court, Erie County, of attempted grand larceny in the fourth degree (Penal Law §§ 110, 155.30 [1]) and filing a false New York State income tax return (Tax Law § 1804[a]), both misdemeanors. The charges arose from respondent’s theft of funds in the amount of $43,800 from an elderly client. Respondent was sentenced to three concurrent terms of probation. He made restitution at the time of the entry of the plea. This Court determined that attempted grand larceny is a serious crime within the meaning of Judiciary Law § 90 (4) (d) and, on March 14, 2003, entered an order suspending respondent and directing him to show cause why a final order of discipline should not be entered. Respondent appeared before the Court and ubmitted matters in mitigation. It is undisputed that respondent used a power of attorney to commit multiple thefts from an elderly client. He used the client’s funds for personal purposes while neglecting to pay bills on the client’s behalf. Additionally, many of the thefts occurred after respondent left the private practice of law while he was employed in a position of trust as a law clerk in the Unified Court System. Accordingly, after consideration of all of the factors in this matter, we conclude that respondent should be disbarred. PRESENT: GREEN, J.P., WISNER, SCUDDER, AND LAWTON, JJ. (Filed July 3, 2003.)

    What about the Supervisor race?

Will the entrance of Wally Piotrowski end the Bove candidacy?

    Has it already?

Who will run for WS Town Justice?

Will Superman find truth, justice and the American way?

    Stay tuned............
Whoever this "Big Guy" is, he's certainly seems resentful and hostile. It does suprise me that Mr. McParlane called him out so distinctly, seemingly so sure of who he is.

Anyways.....Piotrowski ends Bove's candidacy ? Fat chance of that. Ms. Bove is hot, politically speaking . Piotrowski has never had opposition. I don't think he has it in him. Ms. Bove is up to the challenge and there is not a better time for her to go for it.

    Mr. ES1,

I have to agree with you that Bove would be a strong candidate in a primary for West Seneca Supervisor.

I didn't (or don't) think Piotrowski's seat on the bench is up this year. Please correct me if I am wrong on this. But if his seat isn't up, then he has more wiggle room to work in a contested primary. Something to think about.

Who are the candidates mentioned for West Seneca town board thus far?

BigGuy...it is finally nice to meet you. You coward.

I think Sandy will jump on any wagon that looks like a sure thing. Keane has received the support of Brown, and I'm sure Brian Higgins will as well. The South Buffalo Irish stick together.

Dosn't Sandra Geise and Jack Daly work together on the politics in town here?
I suppose he will agree with her. What ever she does he will do.

I think Jack has more pull and if you can get him onboard Sandy will follow.
