Also, has anyone heard of any fallout from the FBI investigation that is allegedly taking place?
Did anyone else see this Saturdays Buffalo News; Sec. D, Front Page; I never knew we had a Erie County Film Commissioner Tim Clark; Is this the same Tim Clark who is Paul Clarks brother? If so does anyone know where this job came from and what the pay like; I might want to apply for a job like this; it sounds like a job that you can get lost the whole day. Oh well I guess the next Commissioner will be appoint in West Seneca; Just think; Commisioner of Dog Catcher; pay rate of $107,000.00 year Plus, Plus, Plus. Stay tuned.

That's his brother, who is also head of the Dem. party in WS. Can I get a job going to film festivals?
I actually have a friend who has 2 Emmys, so that should qualify me for that position

Maybe there's a job in Paul Clark's administration for someone to monitor SUWNY forums for people bad mouthing him.... or sorry that may be reserved for another relative>

Can you just imagine if Paul Clark gets in as EC Exec; I guess will have a Commissioner of Dog,Cat & Bird Catcher of Erie County at around $107,000.00 a year. Cindy Locklear states Tim Clark is not on the County payroll; but it is of my understanding that he is contracted by Erie County; which means he's being paid by WHO ????? ( Erie County )

Whats your thoughts about the Town of West Seneca hiring these part time workers like Dan McParlane for 20 hours a week and giving him full health coverage; You would thjink that all the citizens of West Seneca should be able to apply for any part time job; not just be appointed to same; if you work on someones campaign. I believe its time this practice stops in West Seneca.

I've never held or heard of any employer giving part-time employees health coverage, nor do I think they should, given the rising costs of that coverage.
As for hiring, the McParlane name seems prominent when it comes to hirings. All jobs need to be open to every resident of the Town, not just a few. I'm sure there are others who would like the chance, and would work hard for the Town. My experience has been, those who are hired as an entitlement, usually are not the most productive.

After hearing from a few friends of mine that use this site, I looked at the postings of Tim Murek and his statement of my employement by the Town of West Seneca.

    I would like to reply.

It is true that I am a part time employee for the Buildings and Grounds Dept. I was hired seven years ago. When I applyed for the position, I did it like anyone else would do, I walked into Town Hall and filled out an application. Currently I am still a Part-time employee with the Town of West Seneca, and I do not receive Health Care benefits, nor are they even offerred to me. I am paid $7.00 per hour and have only received one raise (Which is offerred to any employee when they work a certain number of hours).

Another comment from an ealier post Tim Murek stated that the street was repaved in front of my fathers house. This is true, the street was paved in front of my fathers house; however the street was also paved in 3 other locations, this can be viewed by driving down Leacliff Lane in West Seneca. The patch work which was done by the West Seneca Highway Department was done in the summer of 2004. Leacliff Lane was badly in need of repair work in certain lacations due to the asphalt chipping, and giving into the weather. I had no say, nor no input into where the highway dept, patched potholes of fixes roads.

I would like to point out that I believe Mr. Tim Murek has a personal problem with me, and what it is I have no knowledge of. I have never had an altercation with him, but he and my father have had disagreements. He is my fathers next door neighbor.

Tim Murek if you have any questions about my employment, I invite you to call me on my cell phone at 716-310-1836. I will answer any questions that I can without getting too personal.

    Mr. McParlane,
I'm curious, seven years as a PT employee, are you a student? It seems strange to me that you would not have full-time employment by now. If not with the Town, somewhere.

The Town of West Seneca is not my only job. Currently I also work part time for Erie County. I need both jobs to make enough money to live. Before I worked part time at the County I held a full time position with a private institution, which I really enjoyed. When I accepted the job with the County I took a large pay cut but I wanted to make the move because I love public service, and working with people and constituents, I hope that in the end I will make more money and be able to do the things that any person would like to do. (i.e.: buy a house, start a family etc...)

You are an hourly grounds employee for the Town.

Do you work for County Parks also, or is it County Highway?

Wondering, because if the TWS pays you no benefits, does the County?

2 part time jobs? 7 years ago? thats about the same time that Clark endorsed Giambra for County Executive. Which campaign did you work on? What are you going to do for a job when Paul Clark loses the county executive seat and can't run for town supervisor in West Seneca anymore? - Giambra will not be in a position to help Clark's friends out with jobs anymore.

First and formost the name of this Thread is "New Supervisor in West Seneca" I have not worked for the County for 7 years, if you read my last post I stated that I had a full time job that I left last year on my own to work for the County because I like to work with people. I never worked on any of Giambra's campaign's and when I started at the Town 7 years ago I never even met Clark. Intersting that people have nothing better to do than ask the "little" people questions. Don't you have bigger fish to fry? Why don't people show their real names on this site? From now on I will not respond to anyone that uses an alias, as I have no respect for those who are too "afraid" to share their true identity.

    To Mr. McParlane

You must understand, anonymity is what protects us from vindictive government officials who do not like to hear the truth, or what people actually think about them. I am not including you in this statement, as I believe you are simply a victim of association. I have been one of those unfortunate people who put their trust in local government, only to have my problem escalate. However, being one not to back down, I eventually won and will see the fruits of my work in the spring.

As for your status, understand your family name is often heard at Town Board meetings and included in the minutes where hiring is concerned. Therefore, it appears as though someone is pulling strings for the McParlane family members. Whether it is so, remains to be seen.

Since you probably will not respond, be aware, the residents are paying attention to what happens in Town government. And, there is a strong surge toward change that is occurring. Whether we're successful depends on the citizens of West Seneca, and their willingness to do something other than blindly follow the pack.

Good luck to you. I hope you are able to accomplish whatever it is you are trying to do, deluded as it may appear to the rest of us.

    Cool

OK, it's been a few weeks, enough about that weenie McPartlane and his two do-nothing cushy patronage driven jobs as a payback for being "close" to Tim Clark.

    What about the Supervisor race?

Will the entrance of Wally Piotrowski end the Bove candidacy?

    Has it already?

Who will run for WS Town Justice?

Will Superman find truth, justice and the American way?

    Stay tuned............
