Cheektowaga needs to resume recycling

Every time I throw a plastic jug, metal can or newspaper in the garbage can, I can't help but wonder how the Town of Cheektowaga can get away with not recycling. Since the town eliminated its recycling program in January, the amount of trash that we put to the curb has doubled. Multiply this by thousands and imagine what the landfills must look like! This is not only a violation of New York State law, it is a sin.
