They are only free of state taxes. They are still subject to U.S. taxes though.Quote:

The Senecas and all other federally recognized Indian nations and tribes are domestic dependent sovereigns. As such they are not subject to certain state laws. This is why the Seneca Gaming Corp had to obtain a state liquor license in order to sell alcohol at its casinos.
