The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is seeking qualified applicants for a part- time position of Guest Services & Gift Shop Associate.
The individual will work with the Guest Services & Gift Shop staff to welcome guests and assist in their needs, take admissions, memberships, sell event tickets, answer phones and answer customer questions. Applicant will help to ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times and help to create a positive and friendly atmosphere at the Gardens. The individual will assist in the Gift Shop and at the admissions counters and work closely with volunteers.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in retail and/or customer service. Applicants should possess exceptional customer service and communication skills, is organized, self-reliant and multi-task oriented, a team player with good attention to detail. The individual is expected to work part-time on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
