April 1 is deadline to seek transportation

Written requests for busing Lackawanna children to nonpublic schools in 2007-08 must be submitted to the Lackawanna School District by April 1.

Form letters, available in school offices, must be returned there or forwarded to Lackawanna’s Transportation Department, 245 South Shore Blvd., Lackawanna, NY 14218. Letters containing the child’s name, address, school and grade level as of September 2007, along with a parent’s phone number and signature, also will be accepted.
