Combustion of mulch is suspected in fire

10/21/2006
Lancaster fire investigators are eyeing the possible combustion of mulch as a possible cause for a fire that heavily damaged a town storage building late Thursday afternoon.

Fire officials listed an estimated $25,000 damage to Building 21, a three-bay storage garage in the town complex on Pavement Road.

Bowmansville volunteer firefighters put out the blaze, with mutual aid from several other fire companies.

Some propane was stored in the garage, but firefighters knocked the fire down before any problems arose, Lancaster Police Capt. Timothy R. Murphy said.

Sorry for being mentally challenged, but what was a bunch of mulch doing in a town complex?

Well therising that is easy ... the fire was set to take the "heat" off of the off-duty officer involved in the tragic accident on Bowen Rd. Right Colussus?

hmmmm.....atotaltotalfan.... where would you like them to store it, in you backyard?

Colossus has taken his medication. Therefore, we won't be hearing from him today.

However, in the grand spirit of conspiracy theories, I'd bet that the cops started this fire when they dropped a lit joint into the mulch pile. Oh yeah, they were drunk at the time!! Silly cops!!
