If someone asks you to "bring the truth", and you do, why would someone then deni, over and over again, that the truth has be told without providing any tangible and concusive proof?

If I had an old rusty gun and someone just looking at it says, "that gun will never fire" because some author of a book they read said old rusty guns cant be fired, the only solution is to load the gun and try to fire it. If it does, thats the proof. If it doesnt, I could work on the gun until it did fire and provide the tangible proof that old rusty guns can be fired.

Too many people read books about old rusty guns that cant be fired and then get mad when they see one that does.

Why is this?
