I am searching for a christmas garland to place along my fireplace mantel. I did look at JoAnn's & Michael's but I don't like them, too cheesy. I do not want a real evergreen one either.
Does anyone know of a place that sells nice garlands that is NOT downtown?

There's a place I think on Walden? Used to be Ziggy & Zons. Isn't it a Christmas store now?

Are you talking about Dave's Craft and Christmas?
Or try the Christmas Tree Shoppe on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst.

Anywhere! Including Christmas Tree Store. It's a long way from me so I hesitate to make a trip for nothing. Last year I got some nice garland from Lowe's. I bought all they had (about 8-9) hoping they would put out more, but they didn't. That was enough to do my entryway and staircase. I had some from previous years that I use in the family room. Now I want some for the kitchen, dining room and basement.
I didn't see anything at JoAnn's and haven't been able to get to Michael's yet. I'm looking for something fairly realistic looking with pinecones and berries.
I'm kicking myself for not ordering some from FrontGate.com. They had some nice looking stuff but it seemed a little high. While waiting for the price to come down, they sold out of all but the really expensive stuff that I didn't care much for anyway.

After re-checking Front Gate, i found this:
http://www.frontgate.com/jump.jsp?itemID=11812&itemType=PRODUCT&iProductID=11812&path=1%2C2%2C162%2C556
I asked about the 2nd day business delivery and they took the regular shipping charges off and are sending them 2nd day for a total of $19.95!! Yippeeee :)
(I bought a 10' xmas tree from them a few years ago and everyone raves about how realistic it looks)
