The Hampton Inn-East Aurora finally has a new owner, two years after the start of a drawn-out foreclosure on the Olean Street property.

An affiliate of Gulfstream Capital Corp., which is based in Conifer, Colo., acquired the 80-room hotel and conference center in the Village of East Aurora for $4 million through a foreclosure sale.

The sale brings to an end a process that started when Wyoming County Bank began foreclosure proceedings in summer 2004. Paul J. Bandrowski's company, Aurora Hospitality, had opened the $8.5 million hotel just the previous year.

Gulfstream will own the hotel but will continue to use the services of Ocean Hospitality, the management company which has operated the property for the past several months, said K. Michael Harkey, Gulfstream's chief operating officer. "Our plans are to keep it as a Hampton Inn and run it," he said. "We are very pleased with the property. We like the East Aurora area."
Customers probably won't notice much difference as a result of the ownership change, aside from some property improvements requested by the Hampton Inn chain, Harkey said.

What I don't understand about that place, is why don't they have room service? A Hotel that charges over $100.00 a night for a room, should have room service. The only meals they serve are Breakfast. No Dinners.
