As many as 27 homes will be given some sort of attention over the next week in the area surrounding the makeover house! Many will be sided, some will get new windows, landscaping work and roof work!
Over 6,000 people have signed up to volunteer and they will be working round the clock until next Saturday!

I was there today!!!! There was almost 1,000 people there, it was crazy. I'll be there a number of days this week - was anyone else there today?
I'll try to post some pics later or tomorrow early.
Michele, that front door has some character, needs some tlc, but it was pointed out to me, fyi.

Were you involved in the braveheart march?
or on the crew removing the personal items?
Tomorrow will be salvage and deconstruction day..
I hear the whole area is lit up tonight with big spotlights..
There are also plans for several community gardens:)

Colleen and Michelle - good work on getting involved -- but, looking at the pictures -- how are they possibly using that many people?:eek:
