PoliticsNY.Net: Update: Late Tuesday: Are these people out of their minds? The Monroe County IP Executive Committee in a surprise move endorsed both Reynolds & Davis for the 26th District Tuesday. The Committee opted too endorse both candidates in favor of a September primary.

Both? Isn't that a little odd seeing they are running against each other?

We are told that Amherst IP Chairman & all around screw ball Chris Drongosky is promoting his fundraiser by inferring Tom Golisano will be there. Our sources close to Golisano say, they have NO idea what Drongosky is talking about. As far as they know Golisano has NO plans to attend Drongosky's fundraiser.

"Tom will have other things on his mind Wednesday night," says an insider. ###

Is the IP party currently that confused as a group?

I think Davis will win the primary and beat Reynolds in November.

If he does (and I don't believe it for a moment), you instantly won't like him anymore and will be complaining about him by January 2nd.

When you make a comment like that, just curious, do you feel the need to have any facts to back it up?

Well, Jim O.;

I have seen numerous quotes from you, both on this site and in the local media, blasting every elected official from local to national for their shortsightedness and shortcomings.

I have read your numerous postings, ranting about FB and the need to "change" government.

I have asked on numerous occasions (on this site) for a list of any elected officials you agree with or share opinions of. No response given.

Therefore, I am led to the conclusion that your mission is to complain to anyone who will listen (or buy your book) about our inefficient politicians, then if and when "new" ones are put in place, you will distance yourself from them, also.

How's that?

That's great except for the non sequitur at the end. The mere fact that I've criticized many incumbent politicians doesn't mean I will criticize new ones, particularly if they come from the private sector, have no intention of making it a career, and understand the need for change.

In recent months, I have worked with or discussed issues with at least five elected officials I can think of. I have supported many candidates including some who won. If they do what they so they will do, I continue to support them. If they don't, I don't.

Nothing remarkable there.

I think Davis bought this endorsement from the erie and monroe county chairs. He's full of money and that the way he operates. Buy what you need. I too think Reynolds will prevail. Do either chairs really care. I think not.

I think it's possible that Reynolds being the big moneymaker fundraiser for the GOP was about to buy the endorsement in years past since he heas/is the big moneymaker fundraiser for the GOP. That is the way he operates....wasn't he also a close friend of Jack Abramoff. Didn't Mr. Abramoff also give money to Reynolds.HMMMMMMMMMM
I think that Mr. Abramoff is going to be doing time....doesn't that make Reynolds an associate of a felon?
