The House of Representatives has approved funding to build new quarters at the Niagara Falls Air Base.
The base, once targeted for closing but saved after a vocal presentation by local, state and federal officials and groups, will receive $7.8 million for the project. The current quarters are 50 years old and do not meet federal standards under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
