Not much on the web about them--

For a new Free Buffalo publication, I am listing the town supervisors with their party affiliation.

Can anyone help with these towns?

Boston (town) William A. Eagan (?)

What is Eagan's party?

And are these people still in office? Please don't respond unless you are positive.

Colden Marilynn J. Calhoun (R)

Collins Kenneth E. Martin (R)

Concord Mark L. Steffan (D)

Holland Gordon B. Hessel, Jr. (D)

North Collins Thomas R. O'Boyle (R)

Sardinia William F. Hare, Jr. (R)

Town of Colden Super is Tom Nuttle.
Calhoun, is out! Thank God!
We shall see how well Tom will do, it is still too early to tell.

The Supervisor in Sardinia is Kathy Balus - founder of Pioneer Credit. We thank all who saw the vision she has and got her elected to lead this town forward. No pun to Mr. Hare but he was a puppet of Waste Management and landfill issues. Even made a promotional spot in a CD for WM at a proposed landfill in the Catskills ( Um conflict of interest?) Yes it was while in office.
The only sad part is the councilman that was elected (Buster Morrell) resigned at the April meeting and the Rep.'s. on the board appointed Matt Mumbach - the loser to Balus in November to his seat. Yes, dirty politics is well and thriving in Sardinia. Mr. Morrell was a puppet of WM also, but caved in under the pressure, well so he claims. Kathy has done more in 2 months than the town board, with Matt sitting at Mr. Hare's side, could muster up in 4 years. I hear they have a site in Sardinia that get's pretty active: Hometic.com - BackfenceIII - check it out

Thanks, our study has been published at freebuffalo.org.

We will need a strong voice from town governments to move this idea along--for a modified board of supervisors.
