I have heard a BUNCH of stories allegedly originating
from the (few) supporters of this candidate for
Councilmember in the city's University neighborhood,
and they are extremely unflattering...to their candidate!
I know the gloves come off when people run for public
office, but this is mud-slinging at its worst. I don't know
why a candidate for public office would feel they have to
resort to lying in order to win votes, but the tactic
does not work. Someone should tell her- supporter(s)-
that.

I'm sticking with Grant.

View the Seneca Street Business district thread... lies from our current Common Council member as well. She was quoted in the Buffalo News (a few times) claiming to have taken office with almost sixty empty storefronts on Seneca Street and now there's only about twenty. 'Buff Fam' has proven her wrong with images in the thread of almost fifty vacancies as we speak.

Add Mary Martino (CC South District) to Giambra's list of puppets.

For her husband to be appointed to State Supreme
Court, this non-community "activist" HAS to hand-over
the keys to the University District to Joel Giambra and
the Erie County Republican Party. She also HAS to win
for former Councilman Helfer, a Conservative, to have
ANY chance of (even) winning the University District
when he runs for mayor next go-round. What I find
telling is ALL the lies the Russell campaign attempted
to spread against the Incumbent Councilwoman. Block
club after block club have come forth with Russell's
anti-BettyJeanGrant allegations that teeter precariously
on the mentally-disturbed range. The Russell campaign
has even resorted to The Race Card, telling white
residents in the neighborhood that the Incumbent
Councilwoman is racist. Odd, since I listened to her
agree with the African-American host of a radio programn
when he stated white people run all the institutional
entities that have "messed things up" in Buffalo! And
word is: she does NOT really reside at the neighborhood
address she is running from. You should see the house
where she and The Judge supposedly live. Broken light
fixture on the front lawn, uncut grass, delapidated
garage, dirty windows. Politricks at its worst! And
approval-rating-at-27-percent- Masiello is in on it. He's
her boss...NOW.

As if her complete utter lack of community
involvement were not reason enough NOT
to vote for her. I just verified over the weekend
that Carl Palladino gifted Bonnie Russell with
more than half of her campaign money. Kevin
Helfer and Martha Lamparelli (whose running
for Lynn Marinelli's County Legislator job), also
gave Russell money. Lamparelli is a 2-time political
office l-o-s-e-r! She should stick to being the wife
of a RICH real estate developer, and cousin of Carl
Palladino, huh?
