I dont get this. As of lately, firefox has been giving me a few issues, the bigest being that it doesnt want to play Youtube videos anymore. I have the latest patches, and versions of everything including version 10 of adobe flash player and yet whenever I go to play a movie embedded in a web page all I get is a black box. Right clicking gives me info on my plugin which is obviously not working.

IE - movies play fine, but IE is like having sex with out a condom.

any suggestions?

Also, I have found firefox to have extreme issues with loading text, like 30,000+ lines of text and FF has a cow. yet IE its fine...

I don't have a solution, but would check to see if you have adblock or flashblock installed. If you do, disable them one by one, restart Firefox, then see if you can play a movie. I've had some issues with flashblock specifically but have managed to work most of them out.

If this doesn't help, the firefox help forums usually cover just about any issue you might have.
