With 3 Secretary's in the Office and 1 Clerk, you would think the minutes of the town meetings would be on-line for everyone within days, also 1 webmaster, Hilter spoke and things were done, Our Little Hitler or Little King must speak to the deaf, or someone mis-spells everything, or can reshuffling the paperwork, and keeps his puppets mouths shut, Freedom of Speech or yet I have to spend more hard earn money to buy the paper to read about what's happening in our town, Bathroom walls talk more, or do we have to put it on signs infront of the squad hall?, Speak and be spoken to,

I would guess our tax collector is to busy collecting taxes along with his fee for collectiing the school taxes for the school districts to post minutes. That would mean he would actually have to work.
I still can not believe that he is allowed to put the collection fee in his own separate Foundation. I think the general fund would be a better place for it.
I would love to know how much money he puts aways every year in that Foundation.
A Town Board with any type of Brains would stop it from happening immediately. I sure would vote for anyone willing to challenge Shank on it and put him back in his place. Let alone make him work instead of having all his assisitants do everything, one of them may be more than just an assistant.... Can anyone guess who??

Dave Shenk the Town of Boston's career tax collector and town clerk set up his own foundation "The Shenk Foundation".
He charges the town of boston citizens a fee to collect the school taxes for the school districts in town. Eden, Springville, Hamburg and OP.
This fee he then slips into his foundation and then gives away maybe $250.00 to the group of HIS choose. ie. Boston Little League, Cheerleaders or whatever his kids may be involved in. The gift is not the problem its how much actual money has he stashed away over the years in this Foundation. It could be 10s of thousands compounding interest year after year. So when he retires with a pension from the Town of Boston and the US Military, he also has a huge amount of money in the Foundation to use as he chooses.
He receives a very nice salary for his duties along with the benefit of coming and going as he wishes because he has three assistants sitting nice and pretty in his office. Go into his office and try and get an answer, if he is not there oh well you have to come back when he is around. While in other towns in the area have a much smaller staff and a larger population. But in another office in town The Courts Clerk can barley keep up because the one clerk was fired or let go or laid off because she ran against Shenk in the last election. So Little Hilter (aka Billy Eagan) had her removed.
It just really makes me sick I feel like I am being stolen from everytime I pay the school tax and he takes that fee.....

We wish this site....well no this particular forum wasn't about gossip. its worse than a high school locker room. but unfortunately there are people out there who have nothing better to do than sit behind a computer and diss decent people and certain fire companies while praising other ones. and they are also too coward to come forth on who they are.
So no offence to you or your wife but don't hold your breath waiting for that apology, because the immature gossipers that post on here don't have that word in their vocabulary.
I'm sure if you venture into another towns forum there is no whining about fire companies or adultery.
Goes to show a lot for the Town of Boston....

Slander
Slan"der\, n. [OE. sclandere, OF. esclandre, esclandle, escandre, F. esclandre, fr. L. scandalum, Gr. ??? a snare, stumbling block, offense, scandal; probably originally, the spring of a trap, and akin to Skr. skand to spring, leap. See Scan, and cf. Scandal.]
1. A false tale or report maliciously uttered, tending to injure the reputation of another; the malicious utterance of defamatory reports; the dissemination of malicious tales or suggestions to the injury of another.
li⋅bel /ˈlaɪbəl/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [lahy-buhl] Show IPA noun, verb, -beled, -bel⋅ing or (especially British) -belled, -bel⋅ling.
–noun 1. Law. a. defamation by written or printed words, pictures, or in any form other than by spoken words or gestures.
b. the act or crime of publishing it.
c. a formal written declaration or statement, as one containing the allegations of a plaintiff or the grounds of a charge.
2. anything that is defamatory or that maliciously or damagingly misrepresents.
In law, defamation (also called calumny, libel, slander, and vilification) is the communication of a statement that makes a false claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government or nation a negative image. Slander refers to a malicious, false and defamatory spoken statement or report, while libel refers to any other form of communication such as written words or images. Most jurisdictions allow legal actions, civil and/or criminal, to deter various kinds of defamation and retaliate against groundless criticism. Related to defamation is public disclosure of private facts, which arises where one person reveals information that is not of public concern, and the release of which would offend a reasonable person. Or an untruthful oath.[1] "Unlike [with] libel, truth is not a defense for invasion of privacy."[2]

So pretty much everything said bad on here about Eagan, Pluta, Hawkins, Shenk, Patchin Fire Company, workers in the Town Hall office, Mrs. Pluta, local businesses, anything really is subject to libel. And if any one of them wanted to get a lawyer and spend the time finding out who EVERYONE is that posts on here, they could be sued for such posts.
Food for thought.
Sure you can voice your opinions, freedom of speech all the way, but the untrue rumors....not so much.

Uh-oh, somebody found their daddys dictionary.
Let me jog your memory a little bit missy. Back on Sept.24,08 you called someone a "DICKHEAD" after he/she posted something.
If anyone shud be held in libel of something, it shud be YOU.
Be careful of what you wish for.
