I have a small TV in my kitchen that is not hooked up to cable. I no longer can get Channel 29 (UHF, TW Cable 6.)
It went off the air on using my standard over the air TV antenna. I hooked my HD converter to this TV and I seem to get all the channels except CH 29.
My question is any one out their getting Channel 29 on their TV and using a HD converter box to receive the over the air TV signal?

But I thought the change to digital was going to be better for us? Sure makes it easier to control what we hear and watch. Radio is next.

There should be an AUTO PROGRAM feature on your converter box. Run that, and your problem should be solved.

The problem with digital is it's a much "bigger" singal so it take a more powerful source to go the same distance. many people in the southtowns will lose Fox with the digital switch over!

My converter box automatically pickup all the local TV stations that are broadcasting in HD except Channel 29.
I will have to go to channel 29 web site to see if they are broadcasting in HD
I know they are still on cable (TW Cable 6.)

You might be out of the range of the HD signal for that channel. Where my parents live on analog they were able to receive a few Buffalo signals and most Erie signals. With HD they can receive the same Erie stations but none of the Buffalo signals.
Thank the government for forcing the TV stations to switch to HD so that the government could sell the electromagnetic spectrum and bring in billions of dollars and spend it to enslave you.
