Someone just told me Iraq is costing the USA 6 billion a week. Can this be possible and if so why are we there. Don't we have more pressing issues here in the states?

There is only one reason we are there and it's not WMD's or to rid the world of Saddam.

Isreal.

Iraq was the only army capable of fighting them. So we took them out so that the Arabs had no other choice but to go along with the road map to peace. Notice how the palistinians are quaking now. They nolonger have the backing of the largest arab army.

You know that everytime you hear that an Isreali tank or gun ship has destroyed a house or compound that is was US equipment. We arm Isreal for free. As well does Europe.

Bush could not just come out and say this though. There would have been too much back lash from the public. Had to make it look like a just cause like deposing a dictator.
