SOrt of throws your back some. Plus don't forget the countless welfare cases that you know are just welfare cases. Not deserving welfare cases.
I couldn't comprehend a $90,000,000,000 budget but when you look at that list it's a shame.
I wonder if we went through the departments and did a "relative" search. Yes, who's related to who, would we get an eye opener to see how many family members are hired as patronage and non-qualified employees throughout the system.
Only way NYS is going to be competative in the furture is to start cutting the payroll and departs that are over burdening businesses and residents.
It's the businesses that make jobs that make a income, not the goverment.

I agree lets cut jobs ! Lets Start with the State then the City, Towns, Villages. Lets cut them all off. Oh darn Wonder why the Parks are not opened today?
I was going to go to the Park but my Street was'nt plowed Damn! Now Im glad the Park wasnt opend and the Roads have not been plowed either because my Sewer just backed up.
I just tried calling the Town Supervisor and after 20 minutes I finally got a Human Person.... I hate those damn Auto answering systems to many push 1 buttons.
After all these cuts that we wanted done now our services have been cut as well!
Oh by the way cya Joe Hajduk its been a great run!

You are totally missing the point. I do not mean the parks, firemen, most of the police. I'm talking NYS useless patronate jobs and duplication of goverment departments.
You do your best to twist what i say but if you were intelligent you know exactly what i'm talking about.
I'm still waiting for Anthony Masicelo to be a man and volunteerily take a 40% paycut. Are you trying to tell me he can't live on $60,000 to $80,000 a year? If not, then there's an issue.
This is the survival of a community not the well being of one group of people. In this case politicians and high end administrators that work throughout the local/state goverments.
The people that gave our union contracts to state workers and a lot of the town employees etc were written by morons. Put me in front of the negociators and i will call both sides morons. No intelligent business person would allow items with no cost limits be in a contract.
I can go on but do not twist what i mean. I will do my best to explain what i mean s the site grows.

3. More Dependency. Welfare has made work financially unrewarding in many
states. In New York, a family on welfare receiving the whole range of public
assistance benefits would have to find a job that paid a pre-tax income of more
than $42,000 to compensate for taxes and lost benefits. In many other states,
the threshold would be more than $30,000 (sources: Change, NY, Cato Institute).

You know it's just being stolen in a round about way.
Think about the millions and there's NOTHING to really show for it expect for a big welfare group and the goverment/administration cost. A few officials give away our money to get thier votes and then hire large groups of administration people to dole the money out. What a racket. THe administration and peole receiving the money vote to make sure their gravy train continues to flow.
They have NO accountability and the moment we try to account for things thier buds all try to save them or move them in new positions.
They could be considered a legalize "Mob". First time in a LONG time did i finally hear of someone surrendering themselves in Amherst for falsifying paper work. Now will his buds push through the system so he doesn't get into too much trouble for what was going on??
Or will he be free in a few years while not paying back what is un-accounted for? Or will they'll push him through hoping he doesn't start to tatle tail on anyone else with just a slap on the hand?
Think about the school budget at what? $500,000,000 bucks. Why wasn't some of than money planed into maintance of the schools oevr the years? What do we get? Oh we need a $1,000,000,000 to fix them. Duh, all that money wether it be fed or state is OUR tax money being spent not so smart.
I wish we had a federal control board this NYS stuff isn't gonna go as well as it could. Not dis-crediting the board it's self, it's the mind set of NYS politics.
You see some road stuff being done but why is there this extremely high cost to everything we do around NYS/WNY? You hear them talk about how the bridges must be rebuilt and we still need money for that type of repairs. So what are we rebuilding with the money coming in? I don't happen to see a whole lot for hte amount of money we pay.
Do you notice the INSTANT you say politicians should take a pay cut they ALL don't say a peep. When was the last time a elected official that said, "It's time to tighten our belts" but then go walk to the raise department and pop one in?
You notice they make sure thier health care bill is covered free and clear. Each time that cost goes up that's a little raise they take. WHen they go grocery shopping do they get a discount if the cost of food goes up? Nope they pay the same as everyone else. Why would health insurance be any different?
When i go to tops i pay what ever the increase is, when i get my health insurance bill in i pay the difference, why don't they? Perhaps i'm tired of paying for THIER health cost. It isn't my problem no is it? It's also's no one elses problem but thier own.
They do it like it's going out of style. Just because you work a certian am amount of years does NOT qualifiy you for a raise. This also means police, fire, and sanatation workers. THey all deserve a fair wage, but that's it. Do what everyone else does if you want to earn more, you better your self and find a better job.
If and this is a BIG if. If we couldn't replace the people we have now all political positions/civil service positions we would know they might deserve a raise seeing they have a skil that can't be replaved. BUT, seeing we have LOADS of people that can/will replace them on a dimes notice, we, as a tax payer are screwing ourselves.
It's time we start worrying about ourselves instead of letting them acting like they are doing what they are doing in our best interest. It's ain't working.
