Hi,

My name is Jeffrey Sell, I'm 43 years old. I'm married and have 3 children. I currently work for a non-profit organization, Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Our mission is to build better lives for our Nations Disabled Veterans and thier families. I'm a life long member of Our Lady Help of Christians. I volunteer as a lecture. I served Honorably in the US Army from October 1, 1980 to January 27, 1989. I am a disabled veteran from injuries sustained while participating in a training exercise in the European theater.

I stand for:

Family values
Honesty
Integrity
Leading by Example
Lower Taxes
Smaller goverment
Treating others the way I would like to be treated
Accountability
Courage

I do not have all the answers, but I can promise you this:

I will work for the people and not my own interest, I will lead by example, I know how from my time serving in the military, ( 2 years as a Drill Sergeant training recruits), I have the backbone to stand up when injustice is being done, unlike our 15 Legislatures rubber stamping the budget. I can make the cuts needed, as leader you assess the situation you look at all viable options and not jump in haste as the Legislature did in March. I cannot fail I have a vested interest, I have 3 children. The two groups that I worry about most, are our children and our senior citizens on fixed incomes.

This is a short brief on what I stand for. These are not words but values I live by.

I've learned so much in the past few months since I decided to run and I will tell you this. If you look at the party endorsements you will see they are endorsing canidates from the party who holds they majority in that district and not the right person. Example: Conservatives believe in everything I do, lower taxes, smaller govermnent but the committee endorsed Lynn Marinelli, who is constantly voting for tax increases. taxes. What message is the committee sending to thier registered voters.

I ask you this, please help me get the word out, STOP voying along party lines and start voting for the canidate. I am not a party I am a person. Last, I come from a family of 7, I'm they only Republican, I switched to the Republican while serving in the US Army because of Ronald Reagan.

Thank You

I am a disabled veteran from injuries sustained while participating in a training exercise in the European theater.

I'm a little confused, and certainly don't mean any disrespect, but, can you explain a little more about your disability? What is the extent of your injury and specifically how was it incurred? I have never heard of a military exercise in the "European theater" and I probably have the wrong impression. Once I get past this, I can concentrate on your ideas. Thanks.

I was on A nATO site in Germany, one Sunday morning we were running a training exercise, I was the Security Alert Team Leader (SAT), I climbed on a roof to get a better view of the site, the roof collapsed and I fell 15 feet through, I suffered 63 stitches in my chin and broke my left arm in 3 places. Also, while serving as a Drill Sergeant at Ft. McClellan, Al, while on the gernade range a soldier paniced and drop the gernade several feet from the bunkwer we were in, this causing hearing loss. I hope this clears things up for you.

Do we get "3" votes for town board or just 1... and the spot goes to the top 3 vote getters?

If we got 3 votes, I'd center my entire campaign around "1 vote for change" if I were you... get people to give up one dem vote to get you on. This would be my strat in this town if:

1. I were a republican
2. I was up against people who pull levels as blindly as they do in Cheek.

I'm running for County Legislature.

But two answer your question, if they are filling 3 vacancies you would vote for 3 people!
