Are you implying that this is unfair? After college, only the brightest are accepted to medical school. Med students go through 4 years of medical school and 3 years of residency. A specialty entails a couple more years. Many doctors start our hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. They work at least 60 hours a week, often times on call 24/7 and are in the business of saving lives. Their profession demands continuous medical education and research. The doctors I know are brilliant and dedicated to their patients and practice.

I have no problem with the salaries of doctors. If you looked at the county workers who made over $100,000 I have a problem with the jail guards and IT people who should not be in that same category.
