NT Property Assessments

Has anyone challenged the recent assessments that our vacant assessor's office just slammed on NT residents? I am outraged that they raised mine 16% when values in this town are going down. I am looking for web sites to research that can support the argument that valuations have been stagnant. Anyone have any?

Actually, everything I'm seeing shows a 7% property value INCREASE for the Buffalo/Niagara region for 2004. You are going to be hard-pressed to find examples of property declining in value, especially in NT.
