We should fire Rocco Diina today and hire a tough-as-nails, above-board, nonpolitical Police Commissioner from outside the community to come in and give the Buffalo Police Department an earnest makeover. Turning control of the Buffalo Police over to Sheriff Patrick Gallivan is not the solution. Gallivan at heart is just another politician, not a policeman.

you probably didn't know , that in these tough times, with the control board and all , as well as a reduction in police officers,125 to date, that rocco is hiring another secretary... in adition to 5 new appointed chiefs. they can cut the officers , but bloat the administration....nice huh
