Who could not be proud of being a Buffalonian, God Bless our citizens!
It was the morning national news that a humble cheektowaga fire fighter pulled a women from a car crash just before the car exploded in fire.
But of course love of our city and concern for our neighbors is nothing new for our great city.
Its not just the great deeds of this brave fire fighter but also of our police and of course who hasnt had a dozen men gather to get your car unstuck during a snowfall or our support for Roswell and Childrens Hospital.
But of course, Buffalo has a long history of love and compassion with one of our greatest citizens Father Baker...I truly believe that his spark of love and compassion lives in every Buffalonian.
So for once, lets forget about all the crises that never seems to end and so often deflects the fundamental goodness and decency of our great city...and give thanks that through all the problems we have weathered together...our city still has its heart and soul (no matter how weakened, neglected, battered and worn).
CONGRATULATIONS BUFFALO, FINALLY THE WORLD HEARS ABOUT HOW WONDERFUL THE PEOPLE OF BUFFALO REALLY ARE...MY ONLY PRAYER IS THAT ONE DAY THE ECONOMY, INDUSTRIES AND JOBS RETURN TO BUFFALO SO THAT OUR LIVES (AND THE LIVES OF OUR CHILDREN) CAN LOOK WITH ASSURANCE INTO A STABLE AND SECURE FUTURE..WHERE OUR FUTURES ARE AS BRIGHT AS OUR HEARTS ARE BIG!
