One day we will look back at this whole mess and laugh. We'll laugh how stupid we were for allowing WNY politicians and NYS to get so far our of hand with our money.

I'm not unhappy with our goverment structure at all, it's the people that in in control of the structure.

I would like to be at the unemployement office the day the top elected officials are there :) Oh they will be in line like everyone else.

No, it really IS the structure. And the rules favoring special interests and unions. And the sheer numbers of people that comprise the "structure". The people who control it are as to blame as the people at the bottom rungs of it. WNY has "civil service cancer", a giant tumor that drains the lifeblood out of its host, the taxpayers. The cancer needs control board chemotherapy ASAP.

I know the control board is for Buffalo but over all do people think the issue goes up through erie county also? Same as each thiefdom, opps suburb also? ;) I mean the patronage, a few unqualified people here and there etc.

Would you rather see an Erie County/Buffalo control board? or just Buffalo

Well, the county is not currenly in a state of bankrupcy. A region first has to prove it is unable to manage its finaces at all before the state will take it over with a control board.
notice I said "unable to manage its finaces at all" and not just "unable to manage its finaces well".
