When it comes right down to it, as a Town official, I would much rather hear from folks who I know and can identify with. People I can see and identify. It is easier that way, but not grounded in reality.

On a weekly basis, I hear from a lot of people that have a problem, an issue, a concern; or in some cases a true emergency. Real people. People with a name. I deal with all of them. As does Supervisor Ballowe and Councilman Genzel.

If I meet you, see you, know your name and shake your hand.....we can fix things.

When I receive calls, e-mails, flyers and notes on my door from “concerned citizen” or “your neighbor” or better yet; your “friend in Boston”, I tend to ignore them.

When I receive an anonymous flyer in my mailbox about a rental property in Town, it does not get past the garbage can in my garage!!

When I receive a signed flyer from a developer who wants to make the Town I live in better...........THAT I bring to the kitchen table and my wife and I discuss it.

Please keep that in mind. Anonymous crap............Garbage. Sign your name.........we will talk and I will listen.

Jay, not opposing your point here but this above statement is not helping the "3 men in a room" perception. Should you not be listing all of the fellow councilman or are you just saying that the 3 of you are better than your Gary and Larry?

What perception are you talking about, You specifically stated yourself, Ballowe and Genzel. Could you not have simply stated " as does the rest of the town board"? Im sure Gary and Larry have listened to town residents and discusse concerns with them also. O wait I see their names now, it was typed in that invisible font, its new!

I see Karl's "boys" had a good night last night. They didn't have to make a real decision on anything on the agenda. It was too much to ask that they stand up and do the right thing for once. I guess Slime doesn't pile that high. Gunboy is a two-faced lying scumbag. It must be hard to eat with stuff spewing from both sides of his mouth.

Generally speaking, they usually lack any substance or fact. For example, your comment "Gunboy is a two-faced lying scumbag."

Now I know for a fact I was not the only person in the room carrying a gun last night, but I will go out on a limb here and assume you are talking about me. I'm pretty bright like that.

That issue out of the way, let's move on to the lying part. Enlighten us please. Add some detail. Narrow the field. Share your secrets.
