Give yourself a pay cut!

I challenge every elected official and candidate running for office to promise take a pay cut. Not for just one year, but the entire next terms. Our officials keep stating that we have to look at the expense side of the equation.

WWon't happen, they give the stupid reason that it's justa small part of the budget. You know i dont' care how small it is, if you watch your pennies the dollars watch themselves.

Yep the pay cut idea never happened.

Remember when the citizens called for the County Legislature to take a pay cut??? Lynn Marinelli stated they couldn't tak it that year under law...So why didn't she propose it the next year??? Or any of the legislators???
