I used to frequent Tower of Zot, Magician's Castle, Tres^Angle, IBM Temple. I started BBSing in 1985 and was known as The Shack. Where did you frequent and what was your handle?

It was something called DEC-LINE out of California, back in 1982 or so. I was one of the first multi user "chat" capable systems. I adopted the character of Bob & Doug Mackenzie and did slot of original material based on the character and current events. One of the first things I learned was men used to create female handles online. A practice that continues to this day.

I used to host a fido-net machine in 1982 when I first started up my business.
I think it was called fido-net...
I can't remember at all what handle I used.
Wasn't there blue moon and the bbs that the ibm users group locally had?

Heh ... about 20 years ago, when I lived in the D.C. area, I was on a BBS called Elite Few. Amongst ourselves, we called it the "Effete Fools"
